We’re proud that the Sleep Wellness Institute today received the Milwaukee Small Business Times IQ (Innovation Quotient) Award for innovative business practices. We were chosen for three reasons:
- Conducting the first definitive study of the link between early detection and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and reduced employer healthcare costs;
- Working with Sara White (Mrs. Reggie White) to create the non-profit Reggie White Sleep Disorders Research and Education Foundation;
- Being the first (and to date only) Wisconsin sleep disorders laboratory to offer the SleepStrip at-home sleep apnea screening device created by SleepSense.
It’s always nice to be honored. It’s especially nice when the recognition comes as a result of doing good works on behalf of the people we serve.
